McGrath Foundation Mission

Every day, we work towards realising Jane’s vision. That is, for every family experiencing breast cancer to have access to the support of a breast care nurse. This should be provided no matter where they live, or financial situation. We’re also focused on increasing breast awareness in young people. In particular in young women, with our national breast education initiative ‘Curve Lurve’.

McGrath Breast Care Nurses help families in Australia through breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological and emotional support. They offer this from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment. This support is provided free of charge and can be accessed through self-referral. Since 2005, we’ve placed 110 McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia and supported 44,000 families through the challenges of breast cancer.

At Proactive Pilates Equipment, we support the McGrath Foundation through donations which we accumulate when clients buy pilates reformers online. More information about this can be provided if you contact us.
